About Us

As far back as I can remember, I have been watching people and the way that they interact and use their living space. When I look at a room I imagine ways I might be able to improve it.

This is definitely a mixed blessing. When I was a child, my mother never quite knew what to expect when she came through the door. I was constantly rearranging the furniture and accessories in our home. I even figured out how to move large pieces of furniture from one floor to another by sliding them down the stairs on a towel, all because I was too impatient to wait for someone to come home. Thankfully my mother never caught me in the act as I might not be here today.

It is very important that a space is as functional as it is beautiful. An unsuccessful room is a room that looks nice but every time you entertain you wish there was another seat for company, or you walk past it every day admiring it but never sitting.

Rooms and spaces should serve the people who live in them. I like to work with clients to figure out how they “use” their space and how they “wish” they could.
